The drivers will work with other apps running on 64bit os though including MCE and other 3rd party
apps.
They do not have 64bit WinTV apps yet.
This new driver can run under Win2000Pro, WinXP Home/Pro, Win2K3, WinXP-64 and yes do belive even beta Vista with set of drivers I post.
One for sure way is 64bit GraphEdit from DirectX SDK or 64bit MCE, SageTV may work and possable BeyondTV and maybe other
Being I don't have a 64bit sys or OS I can't say for sure what will work.

Yeah have the same problem,direct linking does not work
But  try to enter the ftp first here:
ftp://ftp.shspvr.com/download/wintv-pvr_150-500/inf/
Then copy  the file directly to your pc, that seems to work. :o

I just got a PVR-150 for christmas, and i have a 64bit system running windows xp 64bit edition.

I downloaded these drivers and tried running the HcwDriverInstaller.exe file as stated, but the setup program says that it dosent support x64 yet.

So i tried manually installing these drivers, it seems to soemhow work, as i now have the device in my device manager,
but there is also a lot of devices now that has a ! next to them.

I tried starting WinTV2000, and it could find the channels, but i get no audio and no video?

I then tried numerous 3rd party programs (BeyondTV, GBPVR, Chris-TV...) And all give me video but no audio?

Is this a known driver bug atm? or can i somehow fix it?

u mean that we can update driver in 64bit winxp by manually? not by exe?

And then point to the driver directory (Where i unpacked it).

This made me able to see the video, but i get no audio at all.

also..GB-PVR / ChrisTV can't run under winxp64?

The newest versions of Chris-TV and GB-PVR ran quite fine under 64bit, just missing the audio, picture was fine.

So i am guessing its a driver issue?

(Although i dont know why the Wintv 2000 dosent get audio not video, but still can find the channels?)

HcwDriverInstaller.exe is mainly for upgarding the drivers Gof but I have no idea on weather not the exe is also for the 64x OS which must like it for 32x only.

Well i never installed any other drivers, (As this was the first 64bit driver i found),
so i didnt "update" the driver, i just installed it manually via device manager.

I guess you have forgotten to update the install utility, and therefore it thinks that the driver isnt 64bit ready yet.

(Thats what it says anyways: "Drivers have NOT been updated. 64 Bit Architectures Not Yet Supported << click to exit >>")

Hope we can resolve this issue, as i would really like to try my new tv tuner, with sound also =), so tell me if there is anything else i can help, trying or info you need.

Hi.

I am a bit of a noob with the PVR-150MCE, I got mine yesterday after some thoughts after reading about the
problems with the capture of audio. I have tried TV and capture and it worked great with nice quality - but now
I hooked up my VCR and tried som capture there, now I hear about the troubles with the audio. I have installed with the latest driver now and I am just wondering :

* Newer Line-In audio settings.  Looking for feedback.  Any improvements in PAL land?

Where do I find this setting ? Could som please help me about that - then I will try it and respond to you.
