Our local ABC affiliate here simulcasts in dual audio -  English & Spanish.  Problem is....I'm getting both streams at the same time.

Browsing thru the audio settings, I saw the SAP option and thought that was the 'Spanish' connection, but on further research, discovered that was actually 'Secondary Audio Program'  which was created just for this purpose.  It is sent over on the *right* audio channel.

My problem is I cannot turn it off thru the audio option radio buttons in theWinTV config window. It still comes in no matter which button I've selected.

Experimentation showed I could mute the Spanish audio stream by opening the Windows sound control panel and sliding the Wave bar all the way to the left.   Spanish audio still audible if dragging the slider to the right, but all the way to the left gives me English only.  But of course, this cancels out the 'stereo' options.

Hauppauge has told me they've never heard of this problem before so I'm now wondering if I've got some Registry settings that need to be updated?

Anyone else ever hear of this glitch?

There was something similar in some older drivers (like a year ago).

What drivers, what application are you using?

It did take me about a week to get this device finally installed due to a mishmash of driver conflicts.

Here's the files Hauppauge suggested I download and install and  the ones that did finally got me up and running.  Strangely, they're not the same as what's posted on their web site, but they did work for me.
     pvrusb2ver2_4_22105.EXE
     hcwsmd04_21154.exe

Certaintly I can live with the mono audio on this one channel, but if there's a registry fix or software patch, I'd like to give it a try.

Thanks !
