I will try to update this post from time to time to reflect the efforts by everyone in  this forum.  I will try to include links to the appropriate threads as well as to sites where there are efforts significant to the MediaMVP.

Software to be download to the MediaMVP.  Uses TFTP to boot up and NFS to browse media files on server PC.  Has front end for MythTV (http://www.mythtv.org/), ReplayTV (www.replaytv.com/) and SlimDevices (http://www.slimdevices.com/).  Work under way for directly streaming audio, VNC client, and other features.  Supports certain hardware modifications such as AC3 pass through (audio only - i.e. not supported for video) using SPDIF modification and local 80x2 or 16x1 character IEE VFDs (http://www.ieeinc.com/) and BGMicro serial to parallel adapter card & IEE VFD ACS1385 (http://bgmicro.com/) using serial port modification.
