There was a few thing I want to change but need less to say I haven't find way to fix it where the Video, Picture and Configuration page text to appear in the sort of golden color when it selet or in active mode where the button appear in the sort of golden color which don't seem to work.
Also wait for one other thing from SS hope lee a matching fonts so it the same as BeyondTV but not real a big deal but would be nice.
So for now this will have to do.

This ver can make use of LiveTV TimeShifting mode but plases note that dosen't work with re-write buffer so you see it stop in stead of re-sycn to the being of files unless you have very big TimeShifting buffer.

You may need to change a lines in Media.html for LiveTV TimeShifting mode to work properly rigth now it set to the default folder.
The lines refer to the location of the tsbuffer.dat

This is the line you need editor:
location.href = "HCCOMMANDCALL:PLAY:C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Documents\\SnapStream\\Beyond TV\\tsbuffer.dat";
Change this line to match the location of your TSBUFFER
Make sure you put \\ instead of just one \ when putting the path to the HTML then save it.

Note this English only
Thing you need download
1: MediaMVP 1.1.22007
2: SHS Custom BeyondMVP3jr UI

Now before install it you need kill MediaMVP Services which done under Start | Programs | Hauppauge MediaMVP | click on Stop icon next you need to back up all your .html, .xml, .css files in the main folder ?:\Program Files\Hauppauge MediaMVP\ also make a backup copy of ?:\Program Files\Hauppauge MediaMVP\image\English folder then you need to del all files in the ?:\Program Files\Hauppauge
MediaMVP\Temp\Image and ?:\Program Files\Hauppauge MediaMVP\Temp\Thumbs now your ready to install the new UI and after that done besure install the AppleButter Font which need be done from the Control Panel.
Ok now your ready to re-start up MediaMVP Services and fire up the MediaMVP Box.

Plases post your Commant on it here.

This only works with BeyondTV / SnapStream?  Or can I use it without these products?  Thanks!

Awesome Skin!!!!

Great job SHS, I love it!

Would it ever be possible to make the LiveTV function with other tuner cards?

Sorry I didn't see you reply
Not with SageTV becuase it dosen't do the same type of TimeShifting in stead it record the TV show.
But it should work WinTV2000 TimeShifting but it be the same BeyondTV and belive it was called WinTVPause.mpg
So it should look this
location.href = "HCCOMMANDCALL:PLAY:C:\\MyVideos\\WinTVPause.mpg";

I've been using this skin and its great, however I have no use for the live tv feature, I was wondering how hard it would be to remove it all together, is it just a matter of changing the image files, or would that just crash it?

I LOVE this skin!

Only one problem... any way to get it to list Recorded Shows without the film reals.  I had an old skin mod that came from these boards that would just list the LONG show names and you could see like 15 or so shows on a page with their full name... any chance we can get this to do that?

Great work!

Yah, I agree, it would be a nice addition.

Maybe 10-12 videos listed per page.

I gave it the old college (well maybe middle school) try but couldn't get it to show which file was currently selected.  I did get things showing up in a list but I couldn't figure out how to make the selected file highlight when active.  I think 8-10 videos should show up pretty well on 32".

If someone could give me a hint at how to set the active show as highlighted, I will finish it.

I just got one of these and have been playing around with it for the past couple of hours, trying to do just this.  I have it set-up to display 10 shows and 10 songs.  Seems to be running pretty smooth.  THE font is a little different from SHSs, but still looks good.

I don't have any web space to post this to, and its not really finished yet, but if ya PM me Ill send it to you to mess with and you can tell me what you think as well.

I did NOT write any of the code in this.  I just morphed SHS's and another script together and then tweaked it for my own tv.  I do not take any credit for this, as this should be given to the rightful authors.
(sorry, but I forgot who wrote the other script)  Ill look into it again so you get due credit.  Still not sure who the author is of this script, but THANKS  Wink

got it from this site http://www.unsworth.org/mvp/skins.htm, but it may have had it roots here .http://discuss2.snapstream.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10648&highlight=MVP

Also, dgage, have you tried just changing  the color in the style.css under the "active" portion.  I have mine highlighted in the same yellow the SHS does.  Just replace the other color with #DAB615.  Don't know if it will work for ya, but it did fo me.

It would be possible to display more shows, I can fit 11 on the screen using this size font, but to fit more you have to adjust both the font size and the height in the style.css file.  Lowering the height (spacing) between the words makes it even more difficult to read, so it would have to be adjusted per user.  Ill leave the default at ten (or 11).

I just tried using the Garamond font (Looks close to the font used on the home page) and it makes it a little hard to read the list of shows.  Very doable if I cut the list back down to 8 or 9, but at 10 it begins to get a little tricky on te eyes.  I am going to use this font, however, in the bottom panel which dsplays the show that is highlighted (its a lit redundant, but I need to make use of the screen realestate.  Now, if only we could pull more info from the mpegs to be displayed there, like show description (not just title).... that would be very sweet.

Okay, got it to a point where I feel comfortable releasing it for others to test.  The only problem I've found thus far is that I am uable to use the number pad to jump to percent places in the music list.  It works in the Video list though and that is what I am going to use this for primarily.  The defaults are going to be 11 titles in the shows, and 10 titles in music per page.

I emailed the owner of the first site I posted above to see if the download could be hosted there.  When and if I get to upload Ill let you know.

Also, I rearranged some of the text in the picture module.  Is anyone else here having problems with the module itself?  I cant get the folders to appear (only the text underneath them) and therefore I cant see which one is highlighted (unless i look at the text).  Just want to know if this is on my end or not.  It worked once, but after a clean install of the latest version, its still a no go. Hmmmm, don't think I broke it as it was doing this before I added my tweaks to it.  Also, the header reads Recorded Shows, and not Pictures.

And the last thing I edited was the xml files so the defualt folder now displays more relevent info than the word Favorites.  You can easily do this yourself in notepad, but I'll include mine just for easy set-up and go.

Well, hopefully you'll be able to test this soon.

Hey Treetop,

Good work.. If you want to email me a copy:

I can post them on a website for others to download.

I'm sure others here will offer the same.
