WinTV-PVR 250/350 (Model 30xxx, 32xxx, 48xxx) > Third party software (PVR 250/350)
WinTvCap 2.0
Raven:
I don't think the problem with the audio was that it connected to the wrong pin, since there was no audio when connecting in graphedit either. The audiodecoderout pin seems be reverted back to be linked with -1:Mute.
I don't know anything about programming. Isn't there anyway to spy on what WinTV2k does when recording?
amontillado:
just tested it, on the 350 still no audio.
The 250 gives audio, but just as before, only mono. This remains a mystery to me since i can get stereo if i use graphedit.
Can it have something to do with the different audio chipset used. My 350 has a MSP4418 and the 250 a MSP3415. Have no idea if this has any influence on things, but both are different then the one on the ntsc cards.

Is there any way to change the default record location from C:\... to e:\? Since it looks like TitanTV will no longer be able to be supported buy 3rd party apps like CT PVR it looks like the Hauppauge scheduler is my only option. But the hauppauge scheduler doesn't specify a path when creating a schedule only a filename and my C: partition is only 4Gb I record everything to my much larger E: partition.
Thanks
Chad

Ok,
We already have an update.
The new driver changed the interface for setting the GOP size, ksivac15.ax has been updated to play along.
Fixed a couple bugs that showed up if you used -board:0
You should redownload from the above mentioned links.
For those people having sound problems try this:
1) Launch GraphEdit and make a capture with sound
2) Launch the new WinTvCap2.0 with the -audio:AXAY flag. Since AXAY isn't in the ini file, this should not touch any sound setttings.
If you get sound doing this let me know, cause there isn't much more I can do other than nothing. WinTvCap2.0 operates just like you do when you manipulate things in GraphEdit. i.e. connect pins, route crossbar, set capture parameters, set output filename, etc... We're all using the DirectShow API to do these things.
stranger89, for the time being just use a fully qualified path in your -startr: argument. For example, -startr:E:\Directory\File_###.mpg JPtaz and I are working on a more "intellegent" default path selection algorithm.
K.

Thanks, that was my plan for the time being.
