I'm new to the HD PVR 1212 and this forum.  I've searched through the forum, but haven't found and answer to this issue.  I have updated to the latest driver off the Hauppauge website and am using Arcsoft TME for capture.  I'm also running Win7 Home Premium 64-bit, have a 6 core AMD processor, and recording from a cable box.

The original recording is standard def at 480i.  In playback on the tv, the video is in 4:3 format with black bars on each side.  TME captures the video, but squishes it horizontally, keeping the black bars.  I have checked settings in TME and can't find anything to adjust that will resolve this.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
