I had the PVR-150 working for a few months on a DFI-NF4 (nVidia) mobo.
Then the mobo crapped out.
So I pulled the system harddisk, (WinXP with Hauppauge drivers and apps), and transplanted it onto a Intel 945GNT mobo.
The TV card was not detected.
I tried different PCI slots, and finally remembered to use HWCLEAR.exe. This did help get the TV card detected.
But it was still not perfect.
I had to use HWCLEAR and reboot many times, before the setup.exe would fully complete.
It did work for a while, I could view live TV.
But after a reboot, the TV-card would go missing again, with "WinTV initialisation failed. hTV=0".
So what is up with this?
I see many threads having similar problems, mostly seem unsolved.
Should I give up and buy a newer product?
