Cannot record tv using wintv hvr 900

Someone please help me...i've got this error message everytime i try to record tv
''capture, mc_encoder There is no common media type between these pins. (0x80040207)"
What is the meaning for this code 0x80040207? and how to solve it. i cannot hear any sound from my wintv.

Codec or Audio Driver problem

which codec or audio driver? i already install mpeg2 codec but still cannot. don't know what codec for hvr900

SHS:
Codec as in you install one of thoses all one so called codec pack which can cuase problem like Klite, CCCP just name a few
As for audio driver try updating them to latest one.
