I somehow cannot find an answer to this simple question... Is it able to watch mpeg4 dvb-t stations with EmperoarTV? In Poland nearly all are coded in mpeg4.

I'm not sure, but isn't mpeg4 using h264 codec?
according to the webiste of S&T "H.264 encoding are currently not supported"
mpeg2 dvb-t is working.

Hello LeWhoo,

Peter explained it correctly. According to http://www.dvb.org/ Poland has switched
their DVB-T from MPEG2 to H.264 (also called MPEG4 / AVC). So you cannot use
ETV to watch these programs. Sorry.

Of course it would be cool to have H.264 (which is used in most other countries for
HDTV only) supported in ETV, however I cannot tell if this is ever going to happen.

So I was too fast buying, fortunately, a cheap dvb-t tuner. I hoped that "HDTV using H.264" from the main page of emperoartv meant only HDTV. So on OS/2 I still need to stick with analog tv

Some of the Danish channels will switch to MPEG4 next month - only three channels will stay in MPEG2 (until 2012). All new channels (SD and HD) will be MPEG4 also. So MPEG4 support would be very nice
