PVR-150 and PAL-M
« on: March 27, 2009, 05:56:26 PM »
Hi, Im planning to build a HTPC and was wondering: Does the PVR-150 support PAL from an analog imput (coax)? I read mixed opinions on the net about the hauppauge cards and im still looking for an answser  :(

- I read somewhere that I can registry patch to enable PAL input in this card but the page with the patch info is down;
- I read that I really need a hauppauge with a PAL tuner, but is there ANY place in the US I can buy a PVR-150 or any other hauppauge card with PAL support?

just FYI, im on Brazil (PAL-M) and a friend is going to bring me a hauppauge card as gift, but I cant find one online that supports PAL ;/

So, what options Do I have? Im planning to use the card with MediaPortal if that matters.

It dosen't matter who you get from it just need support PAL-N for Brazil
There is no PAL-M the M = NTSC which you can't use.
