feniks:
are there any chances this driver/app package is compatible with Windows 7 x64 ? i know they work ok with Vista x64 SP2 ... but for some reason cannot get it to work at all with Win7 RC1 ...

SHS:
Sorry there no change as far 64x bit OS
I think you need look at WinTV 7
Keep in mind that 64bit OS is still not a Main steam OS and Windows 7 is still in beta

feniks:
OK, but mind that many high-end users/gamers/cad designers, etc. already have been using either Vista x64 or XP x64 for many years now. so stating that it is not a main stream OS is like stating a significant group of x64 users/customers is not important, because there is still more 32-bit users...

Many of those that hated so much Vista jumped onto Windows 7 like crazy (because its free) and it is past RC1 stage now. It will be released onto market in October 2009 (4 months from now).

Also I've been successfully using your driver package since a year on XP x64 and Vista x64 with zero problems :), although I use third party GB-PVR as WinTV is too limited when watching both analog and digital clear QAM channel in one channel lineup (2 capture sources though).

Just curious if latest package can get HVR-1800 up and running on latest Windows 7 x64 (build 7229).

This what we talk about very high number 32-bit users vs 64-bit users after all it no diff the 16-bit (Windows9x/ME) vs 32-bit (WinNT4/2000)
That just it You do know that min people can't just go out spent ton $$$$ on new system which need be 64 bit hardware architecture and min them are happy with all ready have
Is it rigth time to move 64bit that eazy no not rigth now but if they get it rigth with Windows 7 which they seem to be doing my guest would be next year that 64-bit OS my take off but one key problem is lack of software which going happing in Vista but as you all ready know vista was joke so min dev put hold on software
