recording 60 second clips automagically
(1/1)

Hi,
Is there any commandline software that could record a series of 60 (or x seconds) clips. The effect would be same as running wintvcap for 60 seconds until you say stop. The problem with running wintvcap is the frames get lost inbetween tracks, and we would like to glue these together later.
So, we are looking for software which would record with pvr250 24 hours, and make 60 second clips (without loss of frames). Is this possible? Any solution (linux/windows...) welcome!
thank you for your help and ideas

I'd wintvcap or gbrecord to do the short recordings and then stitch them together by putting them through project-x or the like. project-x would take care of any end of file issues and output two ES files - one with audio, the other with video.

ok, first problem would be that i have to run wintvcap asynchronously, to not cause any loss in frames, right? since stop and start of wintvcap loose a few seconds.
i would have to have them cut at the exact same frame, or have some part be in both recordings, if project-x can do this. but i am not sure i can achieve this with one card?
