I've been using the hvr-1600 for a long time using analog cable, with no problems using either WinTV or media center. I wanted to try the qam channels, so I downloaded WinTV v6. It found the chanels and it
works, with the exception of this static-like horizontal bar that scrolls from the top of the monitor to the bottom like every 5 seconds. It goes away if I make the WinTV window smaller, but then I only have like a 4" HDTV window, lol. It never did anythng like this with analog cable. I tried installing ClearQAM with media center, but I keep getting an error saying there's no channels or something. Anyway, what could be causing this and can anything be done? :(
