power producer v4 help

(1/2) > >>

skywatcher:
i am utrying different dvd authoring software at the moment without much success, i am trying cyberlink power producer v4 at present but find i cant get any sound captured its just silent, i selected the hauppage(pvr 150) card as the sound source any ideas????

SHS:
must apps don't support hardware encoder

skywatcher:
so are you telling me that i cant expect to use the mainstream dvd authoring programs like powerproducer or nerovision or ulead dvd factory with this card ???   is wintv2000 the only application that can video capture efectively with pvr 150? im surprized?
Im using my media centre with an external pvr acting as a dvd recorder
Also can you advise how i can setr a recording for longer than 4 hours using wintv2000   the one touch record only allows up to 4 hours max???

SHS:
ulead dvd factory has a plug-in driver for PVR 150/250/350 and USB2 where the other two don't.

That I don't know I never had to go that far, Most likely the only option is to used the Scheduler for long recording like that.

skywatcher:
cool thanlks for that looks like the ulead software is the way to go , is it any good , lots of options and templates and easy and fast to use ???
I havent used the scheduler part of the software much as i have mce2005 with digtal tuner card for tv recordings , just wondered is the scheduler software able to be set up to work off an epg like mce???

Also im reading alot about tweaking the setting s for the card, is this very effective and what bit rate do you recommend for recording tv stuff to dvd ?
