MCE 2005 SP2 and PVR-250

I have spent the last few days trying to get my fresh install of MCE 2005 SP2 to run with my system, which is using a Hauppauge PVR-250 for a tuner.

Started with installing the apps and drivers found on Hauppauge's site, but got nothing more than MCE "mostly dead" (the swirl was slow and often stopped moving, but I did get audio).  I then remembered (from previous experiences) that I needed go to here or TGB to get the real skinny.  I have since tried different drivers with more or less the same results.  No video, just audio.

I also can not watch DVD's in MCE.  I have loaded NVDVD 2.0, but only get the audio once again.  The DVD's playback fine in  WSMP 11 and NVDVD 2.0.

Any clues???

I had a 250 working on MCE SP2 using drivers from a file called:

mce_1.18.021.22247.zip

I forget where I got it but you can probably google it. The tuner worked with WinTV and Media Center using this driver.
