Add Dolby Digital 5.1:

Thing you need:
Sound Blaster Audigy X-Gamer (See Note 1)

Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum
Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum eX

Note 1: You will need a Optical Digital I/O 2 or Live! Drive 1/2

Update for Sound Blaster Audigy 2 owner only

Displayed on the image above are the "ad_ext" pin connections, which are located
on the right side of an Audigy 2 card. You need to connect the Xcard SPDIF-Out to
ad_ext pins 5 & 6.
This solution had been known for quite a while, but it didn't always solve the
entire problem! You see, the next problem is enabling AC-3 decoding on the SPDIF-In
in the Audigy 2 driver.
The solution was finally found a few months ago though; all you have to do is
connect ad_ext pins 25 & 35 and 'magically' the Creative driver will be fooled into
believing you have a drive bay connected! When this is done, go to "Control Panel"
"AudioHQ -> Device Controls -> Digital Input" select
"Dolby Digital/DTS SPDIF-In decode" and click OK.
If you have also enabled "Compressed SPDIF" in Xmedia Player's audio settings
screen (or the same setting in JovePlayer) you should now be able to enjoy 5.1
surround sound!

Installing Note:
X-Gamer, MP3, Digital Entertainment, Platinum, Platinum eX.
All you need do is plugin the RCA patch cable in to Xcard External Digital Audio
(SPDIF)output then run it to the Audigy External Digital Audio (SPDIF)input on
the Digital I/O Module or Live! Drive.
Ocen that done you need the latest UDA drivers in order to enable AC3 SPDIF-in
decode see this Unofficial SBLive!, Audigy page for download the the new drivers
and apps package.
Ok now that you have install the new package time enable AC3 SPDIF-in decode all
you need to do is open Device Control, below is picture click on AC3 SPDIF-in
decode.


Next run Xmedia Player click on the Configurations button and check Compressed
S/PDIF

Make sure you have install Xcard 1.1 Drivers and Player do not use 1.2 which have
more problem with AC3.
UPDATE Note: Besure download the latest 1.3 drv and problem should go alway below.
Note: DD sometime fake out after starting the movie if it dose just go back
Configurations
button and check Analog/PCM and re-check Compressed S/PDIF.

Extigy
All you need do is plug-in the RCA patch cable in to Xcard External Digital Audio
(SPDIF)output then run it to the Audigy External Digital Audio (SPDIF)input.
AC-3 decoding is enabled automatically upon detection of such a stream.

Next run Xmedia Player click on the Configurations button and check Compressed
