Using WinTV Scheduler to Recording a MPEG Video

 

Note: This is very important that you set the quality level first before doing any recording.

Go to Start | Programs | Hauppauge WinTV | click on the “Scheduler” link

Then click on Add/Program.

 

 

 

Getting this part of the WinTV Scheduler to come up is not an easy thing to do.

Q: Say how I get to work anyway

A: The first time you start the WinTV Scheduler it ask you two questions.

  1. The first message you should have yes to it that enable Windows Scheduled Tasks.
  2. The second messages ask you if you went to enable reserved key on the remote control yes or no.

Tip: What ever you do leave the “Do not ask me this again” uncheck for now.

Now that you have click YES enable reserved key on the remote.

  1. Start WinTV2000.
  2. With the remote push minimize/skip button and push reserved/pause button.

Tip: Use the arrow keys on the remote

CH+ = Up, CH- = Down, VOL+ = Move Right, VOL- = Move Left, FULL SCREEN = Enter

 

 

By click on Source Selection, Radio or Reminder there other options you can use for other thing if you wish to.
