How capture using WinTV2000

 

Click on RC button on bottom right hand side WinTV2000 and Advanced Controls

 

  1. Click on 2. FWT.
  2. Set the Image Dimension you like to use.
  3. Set the Image Format you like to use, most users will use 24 or 32 RGB.
  4. A small note is always a good idea to click OK not Cancel some time it

      lock up WinTV2000 if you do that.

 

  1. Click on 1. FILE
  2. Type 29.97 (NTSC) or 25 (PAL).
  3. Click on Set Audio Format “see below for more info”.
  4. Click on Record Mixer make dbl sure Line-in the check box Select is

      check and record volume is always up.

  1. Click on Video Compression “see below for more info”

 

Click down arrow you can chooses are CD Quality, Radio Quality, Telephone Quality

lot of user like using CD Quality.

 

This will depend on the codec you have installed some are compressor

Must user like using Full Frames (Uncompressed) then use AVI edit and

then use a compressor.

 

Just a note AVI Capturing can take up a ton of space.
