DVD Shrink Guide

 
Object is to shrink original Author DVD which tab bit over size to fit a single-layered DVD±R (DVD-5) disc.
Original Author DVD = 5,245MB reduce it down to 4,464MB.
 

 

Choose open files button.
 

Now point it to ALL files main folder of VIDEO_TS.
 

Analysing usually takes a couple minutes for a quick analysis of the DVD.
By unchecking Video Preview this help speed things up a bit.
 

 
Compression mode need be Automatic this is recommended.
 

Now we're ready to shrink your home made movie. Click the Backup button.
 

Choose Hard Disk Folder
Browse to a drive letter on your hardrive and create a new folder OR type in the letter and path and it'll automatically be created once it begins if it's non-existent.
Check Create VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS subfolders. helps if your using a thirdparty burning program.
AUDIO_TS folder is created for compatibility on really old dvd players although there be nothing inside the folder.
 

Encoding takes around 20 to 45 minutes depending on speed of computer.
 

You’re done. Now you ready burned your DVD if you don’t need patch with IFOedit.
